Milestones17

The next decade

Four directions, already funded through 2029.

01 → 2029

AI-driven transport engineering

Geometric deep learning that transfers between cities and learns from live data: traffic management, resilience, demand prediction.

02 → 2029

Mobility behaviour modelling

How people adapt under extreme events; networks that anticipate and recover from disruption.

03 → 2029

Autonomous & connected mobility

Mixed traffic, connected infrastructure, safety first. Our own smartphone app, from VOTAVI, to measure behavioural response to AVs.

04 → 2029

Climate & sustainable transport

Data-driven emission models for cities and freight; zero-shot transfer to estimate traffic and emissions where data is scarce.

Carried by i-TRAUM, AgiMo, PROMETHEUS, SEE-FAr, SCUDO, MI-TRAP, VOTAVI and AUTOSUP.

Next decade19

Thank you
